Osama death

Jakarta - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) has received information about the death of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden. In response, SBY sure Indonesia will also do the same thing in the fight against terrorism.

"From Mr. President, President Yudhoyono said that Indonesia would have the same spirit with other nations in the world in combating the threat of terrorism. And of course Indonesia interested to liberate themselves from the threat or terrorist attack," said presidential spokesman of Interior Affairs, Julian Aldrin Pasha.

This was said when met at the complex Julian Bina Graha, Jakarta, Tuesday (05/03/2011).


According to Julian, SBY as the head of state always instructed to Indonesia to escape from the threat of terrorism. Cooperation with the international community continues to be done to make this happen.

"So far the security forces must always strive to be able to identify and then in anticipation of any form of activities that are threatening public order and security," he explained.

U.S. most wanted fugitive, Osama bin Laden shot dead by an elite U.S. special forces, SEAL Team 6, in the town of Abbottabad, Pakistan, on Monday (02/05/2011) early morning local time. The terrorist leader's body was immediately thrown into the sea within 24 hours after death.
